Topic Roundtables
CSA offers multiple topic-focused Roundtables designed to support the needs of your team. Each group brings together professionals in similar roles to share ideas, discuss common challenges, exchange best practices, and learn from one another. From HR and Operations to Safety, these Roundtables give team members the opportunity to build valuable peer relationships and gain practical insight they can take back to their businesses.
Each group is intentionally kept small, with approximately 8–10 participating companies, allowing for more relevant, engaging, and meaningful discussion.

The HR Roundtable focuses on the people side of the business, with discussions around recruiting and retention, onboarding and training, performance management, workplace safety, and company culture. It gives HR leaders a dedicated forum to stay current on workplace trends and strengthen the way they support employees and their organizations.
The Operations Roundtable focuses on the day-to-day challenges of running an effective LBM operation. Discussions center on leadership, processes, efficiency, and practical ways to improve performance across yards, deliveries, branches, and overall operations. It gives operations leaders a dedicated setting to compare approaches and bring useful ideas back to their businesses.

The Safety Roundtable focuses on practical ways to strengthen safety throughout LBM operations. Discussions include reducing risk, improving procedures and communication, reviewing incidents and near misses, and building a stronger safety culture across yards, warehouses, fleets, and deliveries. It gives safety and operations leaders a dedicated setting to address real-world challenges and identify improvements they can put into practice.
