Legal Representation
In addition to addressing legislative issues, we also provide the services of two legal hotlines through the Jackson Lewis law firm in Atlanta, GA, and the Busch and Reed law firm of Marietta, GA. Jackson Lewis is available to answer any general questions regarding employment law, such as:
- Factors to consider when denying a promotion
- What the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and courts consider to be actionable harassment
- Appropriate steps to take when investigating reports of harassment
- Developing a sexual harassment policy
- What the law requires regarding the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
In addition, the law firm of Busch and Reed is available to answer any questions regarding state lien laws, including:
- How to effectively collect on past due receivables
- How to correctly file a lien
- Current challenges to state lien laws
- Understanding complex lien laws
These legal hotlines are not substitutes for a relationship with retained legal counsel and will not offer specific information on a particular situation. If questions progress to another level where detailed, individual advice is needed, CSA members are eligible for discounted hourly rates with both Jackson Lewis and Busch and Reed attorneys. |
